The Main Button: In the upper, left-hand corner, you will see three buttons in a row. One is an arrow pointing left, the other an arrow pointing right, and a third rectangular one with two small arrows pointing up and down printed on its right side. This button selects among types of items you have in your library, whether music, movies, books, etc. Click on the button and then “Edit Menu…” in the drop-down list. This shows all of the types of things you could have in your library and allows you to switch between those types. They include Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunes U, Apps, Books, Tones, Internet Radio, and Shared Libraries. Don’t have any of these things or don’t know what they are? Simplify things for yourself visually by unchecking the boxes you see. You’ll see the items disappear under the “Library” heading right below. You can always re-check these again later.
